General questions

1. What kind of clothes to bring?
This highly depends on the season you will be coming to Crete. For April-May and and October-November you are advised to bring a light jacket with you as the weather can be cooler than the summer months. An extra pair of shoes is also advised.

For the summer months make sure you bring your swim suit and a good suncream as the Cretan sun can be quite strong at times!

2. What is the weather like?
In general forApril-May and and October-November temperature is about 20-25 degrees of celcious with a few days of rain.

For June-September temperature gradually increases from about 30 degrees to even 40 in some hot days of July and August.

3. I would like to explore the island of Crete. Which months would be best?
Crete is an island of unparalleled beauty. Its unique climate renders it ideal to visit all year round. However, we would definitely recommend the months of April, May, June, September and October where the weather is good and not very hot. Around this time Crete is also less crowded so people can have a better taste of places with general intrerest such as the archaeological site of the Palace of Knossos, Phaistos or the historical island of Spinalonga.

4. I would like to be picked up from the airport of Heraklion. Do you provide the service and what is the price?
Our partner can pick you up from the airport of Heraklion (Nikos Kazantzakis) with the additional charge of 34€ per taxi (4 people maximum capacity).

5. Are bed linnen included in the price?
Yes, we provide our guests with sheets and two towels per person a big and a smaller one.

6. Do you provide a hairdryer and safety box in the apartments?
Yes, each apartment features a hairdryer and a safety box that our guests can use free of charge!
